WEBSITE MAINTENANCE

Keep your existing website working, faster, and easier to maintain

CubiqWeb maintains live sites: WordPress, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Shopify, Symfony, and core PHP. We fix slow pages and database queries, add features to what you already run, and keep technical SEO in a healthy state.

This is support for sites that are already in production — including code we did not originally write. We inspect first, then quote the work.

Platforms we maintain

Bring the stack you already have. We work in the current codebase rather than forcing a rebuild.

WordPress

Themes, plugins, WooCommerce, updates, and content issues

Laravel

Apps, APIs, queues, and marketplace or custom platforms

CodeIgniter

Legacy CI 3/4 apps that still run production traffic

Shopify

Theme edits, checkout issues, apps, and storefront speed

Symfony

Existing Symfony apps, bundles, and integrations

Core PHP

Custom PHP sites without a modern framework

What maintenance covers

Typical jobs on existing sites. Each engagement is scoped to the problem you send us.

Database query and data issues

Slow listings, timeouts, and admin screens that hang are often query or index problems. We inspect slow queries, missing indexes, N+1 loads, and bloated tables, then change what is safe to change in your current schema.

  • Slow query review and index recommendations
  • Listing, search, and report query fixes
  • Import, export, and data-cleanup scripts
  • Connection, lock, and timeout troubleshooting

Slow websites and performance

We look at what actually delays the page: PHP, database, images, cache, and third-party scripts. Work is scoped to measurable bottlenecks, not a generic “speed package”.

  • Server, PHP, and database bottleneck checks
  • Caching, image, and asset weight reductions
  • Admin panel and checkout slowness
  • Hosting and PHP version constraints, when they are the cause

New features on existing sites

Add a form, payment flow, report, filter, or admin tool without rebuilding the whole product. We work inside the current codebase and document what changed.

  • Forms, listings, filters, and enquiry flows
  • Admin screens and operational reports
  • Integrations (email, WhatsApp, payments, maps)
  • Small UI and workflow changes on live sites

Technical SEO for live sites

Maintenance SEO is the work that keeps a live site crawlable and understandable. We do not sell ranking packages or guaranteed positions. We fix titles, canonicals, sitemaps, indexation, speed, and structured data where they are wrong or missing.

  • Title, meta description, H1, and canonical review
  • XML sitemap, robots.txt, and noindex mistakes
  • Broken links, redirects, and thin or duplicate URLs
  • Image alt text, Core Web Vitals-related speed work, and valid schema

Updates, bugs, and keep-alive support

WordPress and plugin updates, Laravel dependency patches, PHP version moves, SSL, backups, and production bugs. Scope is agreed before we touch a live site.

  • CMS, plugin, and framework updates
  • Bug fixes on production pages and APIs
  • SSL, backup, and environment issues
  • Emergency restore when a deploy or update breaks the site

How a maintenance job runs

1

Share access and the problem

Tell us the stack, URLs, and what is failing. We agree access (staging preferred) and a written scope before changes.

2

Inspect the live cause

We reproduce the issue, check logs, queries, and page weight, and separate a one-line fix from a larger rebuild.

3

Fix, add, or tune

Work happens in a branch or staging copy where possible. Production changes are scheduled with you.

4

Verify and hand back

You get a short note of what changed, what to watch, and any follow-up that is outside this round of work.

Website maintenance FAQs

Stacks, takeover of existing sites, technical SEO, and how we quote the work.

Which platforms do you maintain?
We maintain WordPress (including WooCommerce), Laravel, CodeIgniter, Shopify, Symfony, and custom core PHP websites. Other stacks can be reviewed case by case. We take on work we can support in production, not every CMS on the market.
Do you take over sites you did not originally build?
Yes. Many maintenance jobs start with a site another developer or agency built. We first review the codebase, hosting, and backups so the risk is clear before we change production.
Is this the same as the ₹25,000 website package support?
No. The business website package includes one year of limited minor updates on sites we built under that package. This maintenance service is for existing WordPress, Laravel, Shopify, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or PHP sites that need ongoing fixes, speed work, features, or technical SEO — including sites we did not originally build.
What does technical SEO include here?
Titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, canonical URLs, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, indexation, redirects, broken links, image alt text, page speed that affects crawl and Core Web Vitals, and structured data that matches the page. Software and on-page fixes do not guarantee Google rankings. Content quality, competition, and links still matter.
Can you add features without rebuilding?
Often yes, if the current code and hosting can support the change. We will say so when a feature needs a larger refactor, a plugin or app, or a new application instead of a patch.
How is work priced?
After we see the issue we quote a fixed piece of work or an hourly/retainer block. Emergency production outages are scoped separately. Hosting, paid plugins, Shopify apps, and third-party licences stay billed by those vendors.

Need a live site looked after?

Send the URL, the stack (WordPress, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Shopify, Symfony, or PHP), and what is slow, broken, or missing. We will tell you what we can fix and how we would approach it.
